What is USPS Informed Delivery Interactive?
Take Your Mail Further with USPS Informed Delivery® Interactive — It’s Easy, and It’s FREE!
An estimated 1 in 3 households subscribe to USPS Informed Delivery® service– a free service that shows users scanned images of mail they’re scheduled to receive that day. Users are notified in daily emails and on the USPS dashboard via web browser.
Informed Delivery® Interactive allows bulk mailers to replace the USPS scanned image with a full color image,
and include a smaller “ride along image” that is clickable to a website or landing page of your choice.
What Do You Need to Participate?
- Mail piece must meet minimum quantities for automation, with bar code in the address block.
- Representative image to replace the scan, and ride along image with a call-to-action (you design, or we can)
- Landing page URL for linking to ride along image — must be relevant to the mail piece.
Examples: Non-profit appeals can link to donation forms, event invitations can link to RSVP page, etc.
Pre-Campaign Analysis and Testing
- We can provide a pre-campaign analysis if desired – we input your mailing list, and USPS returns a number
of approximately how many of your recipients are Informed Delivery® subscribers. - We will send you a test email of your Informed Delivery® Interactive campaign before we go live.
Post-Campaign Reporting
At the end of the campaign, you will receive a summary report that provides insight into the number of emails sent, emails opened, click-through rate, and other helpful tracking data.
